Today I took Evita on the race track for a first contact with racing.
I was quite worried because she spent the afternoon to sniff the tufts of grass and playing up and down the bleachers of the grandstand without a glance at the track, and when I put his nose in front of dogs running, she looked with the same look as the cattle in their meadow who see a train.
so that was a super nice surprise when she started the first time on the lure!
well, then she made a straight on the pampas and became mad in the field, with the timekeeper's comment shocked "yeah, it's a galgo ...", but I did not expect much for a first time especially with the little interest she seemed to wear to the thing, and I'm delighted.
