yes, you're right Fabienne... I am very sensitive to these characteristics of the breed, for me, one of the more typical points of the breed's standard.
unfortunately, people are blinded by show results and put on a pedestal some "galgos" who have terrible top line! and everybody wants children of these dogs. and if one of them or one of their offspring shows its topline as it is on a picture, owners will blame the picture or a wrong staking. cut off the bullshit! for having seen some of them in real, it is not the staking neither the picture. I am very sad because if they spread in the future of the breed, and they already spread in all Europe and in several breeders home, they will change the topline and make the correct one disappear... it may become a memory if we aren't careful
